Hello everyone,
I only hope this brief message will find all of you in good health. Unfortunately, I begin my message with deep regrets on
the passing of one of our avid Hudson Valley Chapter members, Rick Cloud, of Mayfield, N.Y. Ricks very brave battle
against cancer ended on Christmas Eve. Rick leaves behind his wife, Donna, his daughter, Dasia, alongside his best friend,
chapter member, Dave Belfance. Both Rick and Dave became fixtures around and about our Hudson Valley Chapter meetings and
various events as well as many other AMCA events around our northeast. Upon their arrival at anyone of our functions, we were
all treated to their humorous antics alongside Rick's tremendous smile, guaranteed laughter for all. Rick was also there
to help his fellow AMC members whenever he could, either with old parts, information he was eager to share, volunteering his
personal service to our chapter during events, his pure form of our AMCA basics. Rick loved his old motorcycles, both building
and riding them whenever he could. Our hearts go out to Donna and family and Dave. We will miss Rick's presence, a true
loss to the chapter and our AMCA. The reality of such loss to all of us is that this persons knowledge, humor and warmth somewhat
goes with them. We will all miss you Rick. Ride on now, with no more suffering. I also would like to extend an
invitation to any one who would like to visit us at the Rhinebeck promotional booth, at the Oley Swap Meet, Oley, PA, April
23-25. We can always use a hand or just stop in to say hello. Anyway, think longer, warmer days. Take care everyone.
Respectfully submitted,
Dan Henke
